In my close to 40 years of helping people, I always find it bittersweet to say goodbye.
I’ve developed a relationship with my clients.
They open themselves up to vulnerability
allowing me to see into them.
Yeah, you’ve heard the cliché, “Into me see” regarding Intimacy.
And it is true.
Allowing another person in is an act of courage.
An act of beauty.
When we allow others in
we begin by looking within.
We see the “holes” within the whole of our being
and have the potential of embracing them.
We develop relationships with these aspects of ourselves.
We can learn about their investment in our well-being.
And so, this is how the process goes:
Looking within, developing connection with that which comprises us,
Befriending those parts, coming to understand and appreciate them, which then allows them to enlist themselves as effective inner team members.
Growth, evolution, expansion.
And in witnessing this process, I am both humbled and awe-struck at the beauty of alignment and healing.
I feel not just a fondness for my clients, but a deep heart-based, soul-based love for them.
And so, from my human perspective, there is the sadness in saying goodbye.
Yet, there too is the soul’s knowing that this is the time to part,
the time of letting go and enabling the sweet lift off into flight.
