What we witnessed during the presidential debate Tuesday night, unfortunately, was more of the same and not a surprise. I had hoped for better and for clarity of the candidates’ positions.
Instead, it felt like a slugfest.
With the election revving up, I’m certain that we have not yet hit the tipping point.
I don’t mean to be the voice of doom and gloom, though feel things will worsen before there can be improvement.
There will be more dissension, division, conflict, blaming, all evidence of the ego’s attempt to survive.
I hold out hope that from chaos will come mutuality and unification.
Yes, many are upset and fearful.
Do not hold those of opposing views with contempt: it only furthers the divide.
Recognize fear and take your power.
Acknowledge the human response as emotional and see all of this from the soul’s perspective.
We are needing to do this work, we are needing to suffer.
Borne from suffering, we are tasked with taking our power
Which will evolve our species.
Pray, love, act.
